Australian 4th Division
|
The name 4th Division has been used for two different units of the Australian Army.
- In 1916, a 4th Division was formed as part of the First Australian Imperial Force. When World War I ended the division was demobilised. See: Australian 4th Division (World War I).
- In 1921, the 4th Division name was revived and was assigned to an Australian Citizens Military Forces (reserve) unit, elements of which served in the South West Pacific Area during World War II.
