Atlantic League

The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball Clubs, Inc. is an independent professional baseball organization in the Mid-Atlantic and New England states. It operates in cities not served by Minor league baseball or Major league baseball teams and is not affilated with the Major leagues. The league offices are located in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Expansion Plans
League expansion will continue for the 2006 season with a team in York, Pennsylvania. There are also plans for expansion in the Meadowlands in New Jersey for a team to be called the "Cliffhawks." The team will be owned in part by current league owner Steven Kalafer and Yankees skipper Joe Torre.
