Asago District, Hyogo

Asago (朝来郡; -gun) was a district located in Hyogo, Japan. On April 1, 2005, all the towns in the district merged, becoming the city of Asago, thereby dissolving the district.
As of 2003, the district had an estimated population of 35,778 and a density of 88.78 persons per km². The total area is 402.98 km².
