Arnica montana is a species in genus Arnica, also known as Leopard's bane, Wolf's bane, and Mountain tobacco.
This plant is often used as a homoeopathic medicament. When the herb is in bloom the entire plant is used. An infusion of the leaves, used externally, is an excellent treatment for bruising.
