Anglo-German Fellowship

The Anglo-German Fellowship was founded in the United Kingdom in September 1935 by the English merchant banker Ernest Tennant, who was also a friend of Joachim von Ribbentrop, German Ambassador.
The organisation was aimed at the influential in society, and the membership was dominated by businessmen keen to promote commercial links. Members included Frank Cyril Tiarks, governor of the Bank of England; Admiral Sir Barry Domvile, Admiral Sir Murray Sueter, Prince von Bismarck,
