Andy Sturmer was a member of the band Jellyfish from 1990-1994, also Beatnik Beatch prior (1987-88). After the band split up he ended up producing and playing on the record "30" by Japanese popster Tamio Okuda. He and Okuda have gone on to write and produce for the Japanese Pop duo Puffy Amiyumi. "Puffy" are known for their derivative songs, often borrowing from the likes of the Beatles and later acts such as the Who, ABBA, Carpenters etc.
