Alexander Zaitsev (skater)

Alexander Zaitsev (born June 16, 1952) is a former world ice skating champion, a skating coach and administrator from Russia.
Zaitsev is best remembered for his successful partnership with Irina Rodnina as World and Olympic Pairs Skating champions of the 1970s. Rodnina later became his wife. After retiring from competition, he became a coach and for a time was involved in the administration of the sport.
