Alex Olmedo

Alex Olmedo was a world-class tennis player of the 1950s and '60s. Although born and raised in Peru, he attended college in the United States and, in a controversial move, represented the United States on the International Davis Cup in 1958/1959. He was a Wimbledon, Australian National Singles, United States Doubles, and United States Indoor Singles champion.
He was inducted into the international Tennis Hall of Fame in 1987.
