Alessandro Pavolini

Alessandro Pavolini (September 27, 1903 - April 28, 1945) was an Italian politician of the first half of the 20th century, notable for his involvement in the fascist government in the Second World War.
Pavolini was born in Florence, Italy. He was elected deputy of at Camera dei Fasci e delle Corporazioni, in 1934. In 1939 he appointed by Mussolini to be the Minister of Popular Culture he served this until January of 1943.
On September 15, 1943 he was appointed to be the General Secretary of the Fascist Republican Party for the Italian Social Republic. On January 11, 1944, he was responsible for the execution of "traitors" of the session of Gran Consiglio.
He was executed by the partisans in the town of Dongo.
