In Finnish mythology, Ahti or Ahto is the god of the sea and of fishing, portrayed as a man with a beard of moss. He is the consort of Wellamo, and they dwell in the undersea palace of Ahtoia. He possesses the Sampo. He is served by Vetehinen and the sea monster Tursa. Some legends say that he and Lemminkainen are one and the same.
