Acquisitionx is a shareware Gnutella-based peer-to-peer client on Mac OS X. It is based on LimeWire and is open-source. Acquisitionx was one of the first well polished Gnutella clients for Mac OS X, although P2P file sharing has progressed greatly since 2002, and a wide variety of high quality Gnutella clients and other P2P programs such as Poisoned and Bit Torrent are avalible for the platform now.
