Acacia greggii |
The Wait-a-minute tree (Acacia greggii), also known as the Wait-a-bit tree, is a tree of the genus Acacia. The term comes from the fact that the tree has many thorns that tend to hook onto passers-by; the hooked person must stop (wait a minute) and carefully remove the thorns to avoid injury.
