Allen Jones (born June 2, 1978 in Gainesville, Georgia), better known as A.J. Styles, is an American professional wrestler currently working for Total Nonstop Action wrestling, with whom he is under contract until 2008.

Career
Styles debuted in March 1999 in the National Championship Wrestling promotion as Mr. Olympia, losing to Michael Brooks. He moved on to NWA Wildside and feuded there with Adam Jacobs. He then appeared a few times in the now defunct World Championship Wrestling as Air Styles, one half of the tag team Air Raid. After WCW was bought by the WWF he appeared on sydicated WWF television as an Enhancement talent. He then turned down a WWF developmental deal from the then WWF because the weekly wage wasn't enough to support his wife's college ambitions. In 2002, he went on to Total Nonstop Action and Ring of Honor. He stopped working for ROH in early 2004, and is now a full-time performer in TNA.
Styles has competed in the United States, Japan, Canada, Australia, England, and several other countries. He has gained considerable success. In TNA and has earned the title of "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles. He is TNA's only Triple Crown Winner meaning that he won All Titles available in TNA. He has been called the best wrestler in America to be not in the WWE by many fans.
Styles won the X Division Title for a fourth time in a Ultimate X Match against Chris Sabin and the X Division Champion Petey Williams. He went on to successfully defend his X Division Title against "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels in a Thirty Minute Iron Man Match when the match went to overtime. He lost the X Division Title to Daniels in a Ultimate X match on March 13, 2005 at "Destination X." He is currently now back in the World Title Picture in TNA as of April 2005 after defeating Abyss in a cage match at "Lockdown." As a result, Styles faced NWA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett at "Hard Justice" on May 15, 2005 where Styles won his third NWA World Title by defeating Jarrett. He held the title until June 19, 2005 when he lost the title to Raven in a five-way King of the Mountain match.

Personal Life
Styles is a devout born-again Christian. AJ is an avid video game player. Styles became a father for the first time on May 3, 2005 when his wife, Wendy, gave birth to Ajay Korvell Jones.
