15017 Cuppy

Asteroid 15017 Cuppy, a main-belt object previously known as 1998 SS25, was discovered on September 22, 1998, by Dr. Edward L. G. Bowell, Lowell Observatory Near-Earth-Object Search (LONEOS), Anderson Mesa Station. It was named in September 2003 for Will Cuppy (1884-1949), American humorist and journalist.
