Zoram
|
Zoram (BoM Arabic زورام Zūrām) was a servant of Laban in the Book of Mormon. According to the First Book of Nephi, Zoram led Nephi, who was disguised as Laban, into Laban's treasury. Nephi's appearance, along with the changing of his voice by the Lord to that of Laban, convinced Zoram to lead him to obtain the Brass Plates containing his people's genealogy and traditions. Later, after discovering who Nephi really was, Zoram swore allegence to him, and was permitted to come with him, his father Lehi and Lehi's other sons to the Americas.
