Yum cha

Yum cha is a Cantonese slang, particularly prevalent in Hong Kong adn Guangdong province, which literally means "drink tea". The slang refers to go to a (Chinese) restaurant and have a meal. Dim sums are usually served in the Chinese restaurant. Yum cha (or Yamcha) has been adopted by the Japanese as a loanword (ヤムチャ). Japanese tourists are fond of going yum cha in Hong Kong, and even borrow the term to be used their language.
