Wroughton

Wroughton is a village in Wiltshire, England. It is part of the borough of Swindon (and is located on the outskirts of Swindon).
Until the 19th century it was nothing but a mere country village. Wroughton is most prominent for its connection to The Ridgeway (in which its high school is named after), a popular woodland which is often in itself related to the ancient White Horse.
Wroughton was also home to RAF Wroughton which closed in the late 70s.
