Wollstonecraft is a small suburb on the North Shore region of Sydney, Australia. Wollstonecraft is shared between the North Sydney, Willoughby and Lane Cove local government areas, and is located about 6 kilometers north-west of downtown Sydney. It has a railway station on the North Shore Line.
Wollstonecraft was named after Edward Wollstonecraft, a business associate of Alexander Berry who was the original owner of all of the land in the area during the early 19th century.
Wollstonecraft is well-known as the location of the family home of the current (as of 2004) Prime Minister of Australia, John Howard.
