Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
|
The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is an athletic conference which competes in the NCAA's Division III. As the name implies, member teams are located in the state of Wisconsin; in fact, all of its members are campuses in the University of Wisconsin System. Until the fall of 1999, the men's conference was known as the Wisconsin State University Conference or WSUC. But it was altered in 1999 to match the name of the women's conference, which was always the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The WIAC was a separate conference until the WIAC and WSUC merged in 1999.
