Whit Taylor
|
Whit Taylor was a star quarterback for the Vanderbilt University football team in the early 1980s, and quarterbacked that school's most recent winning team to an 8-4 record in 1982. Failing to achieve a career in the National Football League, he became the quarterback of the Denver Dynamite of the Arena Football League in 1986, and in that year became the first player ever to pass for ten touchdowns in any professional game of American football, a record which stood for over a decade. He now serves as a high school football coach and teacher in the Middle Tennessee area.
