Viscount Hill
|
Viscount Hill is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom that dates to 1842. The recipient of the title, Rowland Hill, had previously been created Baron Hill in 1814, and again in 1816. At the first Viscount's death, the barony of 1814 became extinct because he had no male issue. The barony of 1816, together with the Viscountcy, passed to the first Viscount's nephew Rowland due to a special remainder in the letters patent creating the titles.
