Vigeland Sculpture Park

Vigeland Sculpture Park in the centre of the large Frognerparken, which belongs to the Frogner Manor, is probably the most famous park in Norway. It is located in the district of Oslo called Frogner, west of the city centre.

Sculptures
The park was created by sculptor Gustav Vigeland between the years 1907 and 1942. Most of the sculptures between the years 1926 and 1942.
One of the main attractions is The Monolith, (Monolitten), an over 14 meter tall column with human bodies carved out of a single block of stone.
Another well known sculpture is that of an angry young boy (Sinnataggen) – it is located on the bridge of the park.
