Verla Clemens Insko is a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's fifty-sixth House district, including constituents in Orange county. A retired health program administrator from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Insko is currently (2003-2004 session) serving in her fourth term in the state House.
