The Vere Harmsworth Professorship of Imperial and Naval History one of the senior professorships in history at the University of Cambridge.
Founded in 1919 by a donation of £20,000 from Lord Rothermere in memory of his son killed at the Battle of Ancre, it was initially entitled as merely 'Professorship of Naval History', with the title changing to its present form in 1933.
