Hi. Cheney's statements in the Senate are public record and not opinions. Please discuss any deletions you would like to make to the article on the talk page. - Tεxτurε 15:53, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Ok, I see your point but several paragraphs of the bio are pure user opinion. The "some say" qualifiers are so stupid and an indicator of irrelevancy. Just state facts.

Hi. Please stop vandalising pages, like the Dick Cheney one. Just because you dont find the material relevent, probably has more to do with a lack of education and your own right wing reactionary sympathies. So lay off, get a hobby, take a shower, have a snack and go listen to Limbaugh or something. StoptheBus18 16:01, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)

I'm not vadalizing pages. It'd wouldn't be appropriate for Al Gore's page to have someone talk about some obscure comment he made or try to bring up every conspiracy theory imaginable. From the links to the anarchists and pro-communists sites on your personal page, I understand why you like the bio the way it stands now. Don't you have an anti-USA protest to attend? I have a law degree and masters in finance degree and spend hours reading political news daily, I don't suffer from lack of education.

First off get a handle. Second off Dick Cheney's relationship to Haliburton is not obscure nor is it irelevant. Third off, what conspiracy theories? Nowhere on the page did it say anything like Cheney is the son of Satan or anything like that (besides he's the daughter of Satan anyway). Lastly you're ignorance again crops up, in your critiscism of me. Anarchism and Communism are two directly opposed philosophies (You obviously don't read enough political news or you would know that) so it wouldn't really make sense for me to have links to both. Oh yeah and the fact that none of my links are pro-Communist or Anarchist, I dare you to find one that is. Finally, you don't have to hate the US to diasgree with it. StoptheBus18 16:48, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)

The obscure part I was referring to was the two Texas ticket - irrelevant, not Haliburton which I agree is very relevant in his biography. The indymedia link on your page hosts rallies that pro-communists and anarchists against the US gov't both attend. See Indymedia's beautiful pics of anarchists: wearing black with al-qaida style masks in Chicago (http://chicago.indymedia.org/newswire/display/43111/index.php) and HERE (http://chicago.indymedia.org/newswire/display/43110/index.php) (the pro-communists are pictured but there were plenty at the Indy published rally handing out materials and holding red flags). The rest of your links are radical lefty conspiracy based orgs. I know it is tough for you to live in reality, I bet you always feel everyone is against you, eh? --68.77.23.91 17:15, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Indymedia is a website where anyone can post anything. I looked at that page, you PICKED ONE PICTURE OUT OF FOUR. And so fucking what if they're wearing masks? Oh man... But I'm still dying to know, where explicitly on my page do I have links to any anarchist or communist websites. You can't just label anything thats liberal communist, for a person who says they're into politics, you think you'd actually have a greater grasp of certain political ideas. Also what is your hangup against protesting the government? That's part of American tradition, we we're founded on the idea that if you don't like who's ruling you, you say so. Also what conspiracies do these sites purport? I want hard fucking evidence not pictures. StoptheBus18 18:23, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)

P.S. If you thought Haliburton was relevant why did you delete the fact that Cheney still holds numerous stock options in the company.

<personal attacks deleted>

I feel sorry for you because you are so angry with your life. You were probably one of those people wearing masks. I'm sorry your parents neglected you as a child and now you are always angry and frustrated with yourself. If you disagree with the US so much that you hate it or what it stands for or think the gov't is out to get you and is evil, you do hate the US. Good luck in life, but don't worry, President Bush and the rest of the USA will still protect your unfortunate ass.

Please stop deleting large sections of content from Dick Cheney. Please discuss your concerns on the talk page. - Tεxτurε 16:11, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Only the first sentence of the N.E.P.D.G. paragraph has anything to do with Cheney. I think you are so immerse in Wikipedia that you have trouble being objective about what is relevant and what is not (this isn't a crack at you, just an observation. The articles won't be perfect, but it is better to err on not denegrating or slamming people if something is objectively debatable.

Thank you for the responses. The section about Cheney's outburst actually improves his image among many. (Including myself.) My only request is that you discuss large deletions on the talk page. The likely outcome of such discussions would be a compromise where language such as "some say" would be altered if valid sources can be found or removed if not. - Tεxτurε 16:32, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)
