I've explained a bit about wikipedia and how to edit already in reply to your comments on Talk:Scientific_method. Those comments have been moved to the end of the comments page. (We generally sort comments by "belongs together" first, followed by chronological order second, and someone did that for you.).
You don't have to understand how wikipedia works at first. Just try to do some small edits carefully at first, and see what happens. :-)
