About the article monsoon the redirect rain season and the accidental redirect i made rain Season:

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has now been removed. uhhh maybe you should tell me what article you're talking about since i edited more then 1 article and i don't have the memory of an elephant (you learned something to ey :P)
oh it's the article i made and removed a moment ago, it was just a mistake making the article with a capital on the 2nd word that shouldn't be there, so i removed it again, because "rain season" is better then "rain Season" okay?--62.251.90.73 01:59, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Yes that's the one. I restored it again, there's nothing terribly wrong with having a capital on the second word if it's only a redirect. It's not standard but not worth deleting either. -- Graham ☺ | Talk 01:51, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)
yes but now there are like 2 the same links with as only difference capitalisation, but capitilisation makes no difference in the search, so having 2 articles is absolutely useless and unnessary complication of the DB--62.251.90.73 01:59, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)
I don't think it matters that much to perfectly honest -- Graham ☺ | Talk 02:13, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)
you're right but it just cranks me up that you people (tried talking to some guy on irc about it to) just can't delete an article that is clearly mistaken, a typo, because you feel too strictly bound by the 'rules' instead of just following the philosophy of wiki. Having more then 1 article with the same name but different capitalisation is not only useless but also unnessesary complication of wiki, what if i would make 10 articles extra on hitler? hItler, hiTler, hitLer, hitlEr etc. it's just a mistake (accidental) or vandalism (on purpose). Either way, it should be removed without too much hesitation. --62.251.90.73 02:23, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Well it sounds like you're getting on the defensive about this issue now which is a bit silly really, the discussion is just around whether a redirect should exist or not and it makes absolutely no difference to me whatsoever. List it on Wikipedia:Redirects for deletion if it really offends you that much then calm down a bit and get a bit of context. -- Graham ☺ | Talk 02:48, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)

It's not that i care about an article with a wrong name existing, it's just irritates me that you people can't delete a little but obvious typo/mistake because you feel too strictly bound to some rules although deleting the error is obviously in the spirit of those rules. It's not the article that bothers me but the lack of logic and collaboration. It's so bureaucratic. --62.251.90.73 12:31, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)
