- Woah! Why not use the more conventional Category:American actors and actresses instead of 'U.S.'? Do we even need to say 'actress'? Maybe it should be Category:American actors. Yes i personally think youre right about the "actors and actresses" thing. There was previously a category called "Actors and Actresses" (two capital As) and i was trying to fix the bad upper case on that. I didnt really think about the actress thing but presumably some people would disagree with us on that.
So far as "American" is concerned a lot of people dont like it because America can also mean the whole continent. Also the country is under United States so i what i was thinking was that it must make some sense to standardise on that for the sake of alphabetical listings (rather than using American some of the time and US the rest of the time). 213.202.139.72 22:37, 31 May 2004 (UTC)
