User talk:200.69.36.106

I see from your edit history that you have a user account, but your contributions are showing up as anonymous in the edit histories.

Are you actually logged in? (One way to tell is to check that your username appears in the upper right of the screen.)

ANSWER: I have logged in just tonight and made no contributions with the exception of a comment to an article since then. When I logged in again now, the message said I was successfully logged and my username appeared in the upper right of the screen, but only in my page, which I could edit without difficulty; my username does not appear on other pages but only on "mine". My former contributions have been anonymous, previous to this day, I don't know if you take data from my computer, if so, you could know when I use Wikipedia. If I committed a mistake, please let me know; if my account was wrongly created you can mail me to princeofhell_6662000@yahoo.com telling me what is wrong to ammend it. If tonight or tomorrow I don't see any mail or new message, I'm going to think that it is all right. My apologies for any inconveniency. If it is needed, I'm going to delete the line about my previous contributions.
Something else, I have tried to re-create my account with my same username and password to verify if they were really in use and the program told me that they were. I'm going to post a short contribution now to see if you can register it. The Warlock
Please see if you can register a short article about the bio of Menkaure. Thanks.

The Menkaure article is there, but it's listed as having been contributed by someone who wasn't logged in as a user. So is the contribution to Parvathi. And all the contributions to User:The Warlock are listed as contributions from a not-logged-in user, which is what got me wondering in the first place.
Meanwhile, the edit history for your username (http://www.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=Special:Contributions&target=The_Warlock) is completely empty.
If you really have logged in successfully, then there's something odd going on (and I'm afraid it's beyond my competence to help you find out what it is; you could try posting a message at Wikipedia:Village pump asking for suggestions).

You may be timing out, if you haven't checked the "keep me logged in across multiple sessions" box. Just a thought; it happens to me at work. Koyaanis Qatsi 10:12 11 Jun 2003 (UTC)
Also note that logging in doesn't work if your browser doesn't accept cookies from the site. It will tell you it logged in, and then go back to not being logged in on the next page you visit. Also, if you do log in, your browser will cache pages with your name up in the corner, so it may keep showing your name on the corner until that page is updated even after your session times out. So things are fun and exciting. :) --Brion 07:11 12 Jun 2003 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify him/her. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
