What's up?
Last fall, it seemed like 80% of my work in Wikipedia was being involved in edit and revert wars. Since then, I've changed my religious affiliation, and have gotten quite tired of arguing with everyone. So for the most part, I'll be editing random pages. There will be a few exceptions, for example instances where someone asks me to help solve a problem, or subjects I feel I really know a lot about, but for the most part, I'm not going to be watching my watchlist for a loooooonnnnnngggg time.
I am taking a break from College this summer so that I will be able to increase my religous studies and work more than usual so that I can purchase a motorcycle without an auto loan.
Where I stand
When it comes to Political Issues, I tend to take a Centrist POV that leans slightly to the "Liberal" side. My political affiliation is Conservative Libertarian. I am an adherant of Orthodox Judaism, but I am not Halakahicly Jewish - I am a Noahide. More specifically (and oddly, some might say) my views are a mixture of Litvish and Machmir Modern Orthodox views.
I am a member of JPFO and a moderator at the Jews for Judaism discussion forums.
So to give you a quick run-down...:
- I am in favor of legalizing gay marriages, while I am personally opposed to homosexuality.
- I am against adding more restrictions to the current Gun Control laws, and am somewhat of a "Gun Nut."
- I am somewhat skeptical about any "peace talks" between Israeli and Palestinian leaders; I do not think highly of either Palestinian or Israeli leadership, though I have some hope for Abbas.
- I am a Non-Zionist. The founding of the state of Israel was contrary to Jewish Law; however, I am completely opposed to groups such as Nuetrei Katra and Palestinian Terrorism.
- I do not support groups that call for the dismantlement of Israel.
