I'm one of the sysops from the Chinese Wikipedia. I found the English wiki during a google search to decide whether a "jackass" is a donkey or a mule, back in April 2004. It's addiction on sight.
Though I have edited some articles here, I'm contributing a lot more to the Chinese wiki. I'm here mostly to add inter-language links, to monitor the translation request pages for Chinese and help with the cleanups now and then.
I am a native speaker of Chinese, but have lived in the United States for nearly 15 years now. Reading and editing on the Chinese wiki has certainly polished up my Chinese language skills.

I'm also one of the operators of the m:Interwiki bot on the Chinese wiki, doing interwiki as well as categorizations. Jan 2005 status -- Note that I have less free time these days, so I will be slowing down on my English wiki work. I will still be active in Chinese Wiki, but since I'm a sysop there, I feel that they have a much stronger claim to my time. I'll still be doing interwiki links and the like from this place, and talk in either Chinese or English pages will be read daily, just that I won't be as active here anymore.
