Howdy from a Wikipedian as of early '04. Having found myself making use of Wikipedia's excellent content on a nearly daily basis, I felt it was only right to contribute what little my own meagre talents can manage in return.
Much doffing of hats to those that make the encylopedia great, and those that make those that make the encyclopedia great. Kudos is on back-order, but I'll present some as and when it becomes available.
Some of the areas I've spent time writing articles for are lochs in Scotland, castles in Grampian, Scotland and early 20th century songwriters. I also haunt VfD looking for articles to rescue and when in the mood for a challenge pick a random item from the most wanted list.
More recently I've been working up scripts to automatically report articles meeting certain criteria - for example those containing no links. These can be very useful when trying to find areas of Wikipedia that are needing attention.
