About Me:
I was born in 1975 and grew up in Cleveland, OH in a suburb called Strongsville. I attended 3 grade schools - St. Joseph and John, Incarnate Word, and Holy Family - until attending St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland. Attending a great, all-male high school certainly helped form my moral foundation and kept me from engaging in many harmful activities many high school kids partake in (mainly drugs).
My parents got divorced in my early teens. I think it was fate though because my mother remarried the greatest guy, who, coupled with my mother, has been the strongest positive influence on my life.
I attended Bowling Green State University in Ohio in 1994. The next year I transferred to Miami University in Oxford, OH, mainly because I wanted to attend a more academically respected university. I lived in a dormitory called Havighurst Hall where many transfer students were housed. My best friends in 1995 were Leo Alexander from Cicinnati, OH and Michael Murphy from St. Louis. The next year I rushed and became a brother in the Sigma Chi fraternity. The fraternity shaped my social life for the next 5 years.
In late 1999, I enrolled in an Entrepreneurial Ventures course where I to wrote a business plan for a company called "College Stars of Tomorrow". It was to be a company that helped high school kids showcase their athletic and academic talent to college recruiters using dynamic online profiles. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but in retrospect I didn't understand the distinctions between good ideas and good business opportunities. Eventually the business morphed into a statistical gathering system for all sports sold to newspapers and T.V. stations before raising substantial investment capital.

I graduated law school and now live in Chicago - I'm lovin it! [there is much more, but that's all for now]
