Hello and welcome to my user page.
After starting at wikipedia some time ago as an annonymous user I became fascinated with adding content ONLY to Birmingham related articles (there are many to write), some of my work here is not straight forward and I guess some may accuse me of being a loose cannon in many respects although this is not my goal here, to be blatantly honest I am not seeking kudos for my contributions, rather a balanced view of many Brum articles that otherwise did not exist or existed in a rather weedy, whittled-down form previously to my arrival here.
I am not interested in conflict although I do believe that sometimes you have to stand up for what you think to be right.
When I first arrived here I was heavily vandalised by a particlular user who continues to engage in conflict, after reasurance by users: Angela, Rbrwr and G-Man I decided to stay and contribute further but as I work full time and have many commitments outside of work my time here is limited and I am probably guilty of not taking enough time to read thoroughly all rules and regulations, but hey... I come here to chill out and write about things that interest me.
I have also added material that has been contested by Fastfission and Morven although in both cases my additions were warranted and truth actually using my sources from wikipedia itself, both instances were resolved with no further conflict.
I do not profess to be perfect by a long shot and in I enjoy researching and contributing much more than copy editing, I find it amazing and become easily flattered when other users quickly edit down my additions although I strongly opose deletion unless I have (unknowingly) added something that is untrue or not my own work. My english and grammar isn't perfect either but it gets me by.
A few articles I started: Cancer research, Alexander Parkes (inventor of celluloid of which I have/am contributing to), Birmingham military history, Gun Quarter, Birmingham transport history, Forward Gas Engine Company (I made this under a different IP address), Birmingham Botanical Gardens (different IP address), Green men of Birmingham, Concrete jungle, Ken Shuttleworth (different IP address), Brindleyplace (under diff IP), Millennium Point (under diff IP), Thinktank, Birmingham (diff IP), Chinatown, Birmingham + Chinatown, Birmingham/Temp, Birmingham School of Acting (diff IP), Elmhurst School for Dance (diff IP), Food and drink in Birmingham, England (diff IP), Custard Factory (diff IP), Birmingham International Carnival (diff IP), P.C.R.L. (diff IP, now reads PCRL), Handsworth, West Midlands (my first dispute between Handsworth in Sheffield, I persuaded a page for each city then it became re-directed and I lost my IP?), Science and invention in Birmingham (I created this on the main Brum page and Valiantis copied my text and created a new page as it was too much for the Brum article), Birmingham Old Crown (diff IP), Anchor Inn, Birmingham (diff IP), Typhoo tea (diff IP), Blue Bird Toffee (diff IP), Bournville (diff IP), Spencer Davis Group (diff IP), The Charlatans (diff IP), Ikon Art Gallery (diff IP), Custard Factory (diff IP), Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham International Carnival, Birmingham transport history, Birmingham Hip Hop scene, Birmingham Dance music scene, Medicine Bar, Leftfoot, Brothers and Sisters, Rum Runner nightclub, and the Electric Cinema.

Please help me by correcting my spelling etc if you have time, thanks.
