I came across Wikipedia via a websearch and am fascinated by it. I have always been one who likes to organize and categorize information, partly I believe because I'm not smart enough to comphrend things unless they are nicely organized! But seriously, I think my brain just goes into pattern matching mode all the time. You can see this categorization of information at my company's two main websites, referenced in the next paragraph.
I am founder and president of Xtras, Inc. (http://www.xtras.com) which has product lines VBxtras (http://www.vbxtras.com) for Visual Basic 6.0 and prior developers, and Xtras.Net (http://www.xtras.net) for .NET developers. VBxtras specializes in ActiveX components and Xtras.Net in .NET components. I started the business because I am a developer and think that the 3rd party component market is fascinating and I wanted to contribute to it in some significant way. Seriously.
I also ride motorcycles and have developed several pages about motorcycles on my personal website (http://www.mikeschinkel.com/motorcycles/).
