I live in Los Angeles with my wife and daughter-and-a-half (late November due-date for #2). For money, I write code for Treyarch, a division of Activision. For fun, I design and play strategy games, read, lurk Usenet, and pretend to be a stuffed monkey (this last one usually with daughter Rebecca).
I am an expert in nothing. By which I don't mean to imply that the subject of nothing is something I am expert in. Rather...um, how to put this.
"There does not exist a subject 'E' that is a member of 'S', the set of things in which I am expert."
That's the sort of thing I meant to convey. I'm sort of a "poor-man's polymath." My fields of not-quite-as-non-expert-as-others are mathematics, politics, economics, history, and how to keep a 2-year-old entertained by pretending to be a stuffed monkey.
