Hello! I am a relatively new Wikipedian, but am starting to fall into clutch of Wikimania. In my previous career, I was a student of ancient Roman history, and I am currently a journalist and editor covering high tech issues, and I've contributed to and edited articles on those topics. However, most of my Wiki energy has gone into my hobby, public transit: I've contributed to a lot of transit pages, and created new pages for transit systems in Buffalo (where I grew up) and Baltimore (where I live now), as well as stub pages for St. Louis and Cleveland. The latter two grew out of one my personal Wiki projects -- putting links to mass transit on the pages for airports that have rail links.
Update 6/21: I'm adding the following, 'cause, why not? Isn't it sort of the point of this exercize?
