Like many others, I ran across Wikipedia by searching Google. I began editing entries on November 16, 2003.
I majored in the classics, then went on to graduate school in library science, then to a job as a cataloger. For the past ten years or so, I have cataloged books and serials about music, scores, and sound recordings. I have studied various foreign languages, starting with Italian in childhood. Put all that together, and you can see why I chose the username I did. But my interests are not limited to those subjects.
If I can contribute anything at all to the project -- even if it is mostly minor edits here and there -- without causing too much controversy, I shall consider myself to have done pretty well.
