One more contributor to the Wikipedian community (since July 2, 2004). I'm originally from California; I now live in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Main interests (not in any particular order)
- Copyediting and correcting typos.
- Cleaning up articles that need help.
- Expanding and giving attention to articles that need it.
- Helping add information to neglected articles.
- Besides the above, I
oftensometimes (not as often as I'd like) create new articles/stubs. My main areas of interest include music (mainly rock and roll, blues, soul and rhythm and blues, hip-hop, jazz, and pop standards, especially older [i.e. pre-1990] artists and albums that haven't had much written on them); libraries and librarianship; religion; politics; history, of all kinds and periods and areas of the world (although I have a keen interest in British, American, and Mexican history, so do a lot of other contributors here, so my prime motivation is to look at areas/articles that are not getting attention); film, especially pre-1970s movies; television; literature; and language.
