My laptop is dead. This has greatly curtailed all of my computing activities. My Wikipedia contributions will be minimal until such time as my situation improves.

Expertise in Roman economic and religious history, political and religious history of the European/Middle-Eastern Dark Ages (7-8th centuries), and sundry other areas. I write for my living, if you can call it that, and I'm glad to lend a hand in editing and wordsmithing. I am also a New York area railfan.
