Hello! I'm a Physics major at Carnegie Mellon University, with strong interests in user interface design, category theory, and quantum information theory. I started using Wikipedia a few months ago, and I really love it. I think I'm a very good copyeditor, and at the beginning of using Wikipedia I focused on a lot of editing and upkeep tasks (VfD, etc.). At the moment, I see too many areas where Wikipedia needs new articles to worry about much else, though.

Current Status
Completely out of time.
Previous Goals
I'm currently working on the quantum information theory hierarchy, but I'm starting on the bottom up. I'm writing comparatively short articles on a lot of the things I'm going to need for the big articles, like Quantum channel capacity and quantum information theory. That's making the task a lot more manageable.
Articles needed for quantum information theory
(In approximate order of easiness):
- mutual quantum information
- entropy exchange
- joint system (figure out what I'm doing with this -- classical? Quantum?)
- subadditivity
- von Neumann entropy
- quantum channel
- classical capacity of a quantum channel
- quantum capacity of a quantum channel
- quantum channel capacity
- Measurement in quantum computation (may want to rename)
- entropy measure (verify that this is the common term!)
- quantum information theory (not as a redirect)
Possible Plans
- Rewrite mutual information if it is still listed for cleanup
- Write entropy exchange, mutual quantum information stubs
Future plans
- Enlarge Pykrete article with material from 1948 paper.
Articles I've written
conditional entropy, conditional quantum entropy, joint entropy, coherent information, joint quantum entropy
L (complexity), NL (complexity), FP (complexity)
Articles I've contributed to significantly
