CANALES, CORMAC. Was born of Hispanic and Irish stock on 3 June 1983, in New York, New York. Has always lived there except for brief periods. Educated at parochial schools and privately; poor discipline precluding university. Interested early in philosophy, music, and writing. Current interests reside in the aforementioned as well as copious (and, occasionally, overlapping) areas of the sciences and arts. Lives quietly and eventlessly, with classical and antiquitarian tastes. Especially fond of the culture, history, and language of Germany; however, fiercely loyal towards the United States. Prefers the romantic nostalgia of the past and the ambiguity of the future to the dreary boredom of the present. Favorite authors include Lovecraft, Christopher Marlowe, Hemingway and Dean Koontz. Currently self-employed as a writer of unpublished poetry and fiction. Extremely conservative in general perspective and method. Proud member of Wikipedia since May of 2004. Lives in Brooklyn, New York.
