AnonymousCoward is the author of much drivel on Slashdot as well as on other SlashSites. "AnonymousCoward" is also the author of often insightful remarks on Nupedia, however.
The identities of anonymous cowards are not entirely anonymous on the Wikipedia: by studying the history (http://www.wikipedia.com/wiki.cgi?action=history&id=AnonymousCoward) of this or other pages signed by anonymous cowards, their identities can sometimes be ascertained. Discerning identities is only as reliable as the Wikipedia's security, however. (The likelihood of identity theft on the Wikipedia has not been explored in depth.)
