Hello!
I am a fairly new Wikipedia user and not sure exactly how much time I will have to be contributing here, nevermind whether I have the talent to do so anyway. But, I will pick and poke around for a while to find out.
By trade I'm a Unix sysadmin/developer and a lot of my interests are Internet-related. In many ways the stereotypical geek, just like all the others. However, although a lot of my time is taken up playing with the latest software toys (and hardware toys when cash flow allows), I do take an interest in the social and philosophical aspects of all this nifty Internet technology.
I'm heavily involved in various Blitzed (http://blitzed.org/) projects especially OPM (http://opm.blitzed.org/), an insecure proxy DNSBL, and Blitzed's IRC network. I can be found there under the nickname of grifferz (http://blitzed.org/staff/grifferz), but unless you're willing to register a nick on that network, I probably won't talk to you (no offence!). You could always email me instead, at grifferz@blitzed.org.
As I'm still getting to grips with how Wikipedia works, both technically and socially, I welcome any suggestions or feedback anyone may have for me. Feel free to just add it here, thanks.
