Nippura is a small highly specialised Japanese acrylic glass manufacturer based in Kagawa. The firm's most well-known products are enormous sheets for use in aquariums.

The company was founded in September 1969 by Shikiyama Tetsuhiro, who remains the CEO to date (2003). It began by making acylic boards for use in small items of furniture and decoration. In 1970 the company used a special adhesive to produce its first large, thick panel, for Yashima's aquarium. Facing heavy domestic competition the company went abroad in the early 1980s and after a successful installation at the Monterey Bay Aquarium the company has gone on to build around 75% of the international large panel market. Its panels are in over 120 aquariums, including a 22.5 m by 8 m panel at Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium.

Nippura also produces acylic display panels for projectors and various shapes of bullet-resistant sheeting.
