The University of Copenhagen Faculty of Health Sciences (Danish: Det Sundhedsvidenskabelige Fakultet Københavns Universitet) houses ten academic departments that focus on the theoretical aspects of research and teaching. Clinical research and teaching are carried out at University hospitals in the Copenhagen area and are co-ordinated by the University Clinical Centre, which is divided into six clinical departments. Both the theoretical and the clinical elements of dental training are carried out at the Institute of Dentistry.
The Faculty produces graduates in medicine, dentistry, and human biology. In addition, the Faculty offers a Master's degree in public Health, Bachelor's and further degrees in Public Health in addition to a Master's degree in International Health.
The Faculty runs a central library, the Panum Library, for teachers and students.
