USS Tripoli (Star Trek)

The USS Tripoli is a fictional starship from the Star Trek universe, which although never actually seen even once on screen, was mentioned in dialogue a couple of times. She was first mentioned in the episode "Datalore", as the starship that discovered Data in the Omicron Theta system on February 2, 2338. Some time in the following years the ship decommissioned to the Federation Surplus Depot Z15 at Qualor II where it was used as a holding vessel on the yard's perimeter in Section 12-Delta-4. After serving in this capacity for an indeterminate amount of time the ship was eventually retired.
