USS Shark

Seven United States Navy ships have borne the name Shark.
- The first Shark (1821) was a schooner destroyed on a sandbar in 1846.
- The second Shark (1861) was a captured Confederate schooner captured by the United States Navy and later renamed George W. Rodgers.
- The third Shark (SS-8) was a Plunger-class submarine commissioned in 1903.
- The fourth Shark (SP-534) was a motorboat purchased and commissioned by the Navy in 1917.
- The fifth Shark (SS-174) was a Porpoise-class submarine commissioned in 1936.
- The sixth Shark (SS-314) was a Balao-class submarine commissioned in 1944.
- The seventh Shark (SSN-591) was a Skipjack-class submarine commissioned in 1961.
