Four ships of the United States Navy have been named USS Pittsburgh in honor of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- The first Pittsburgh (usually spelled Pittsburg), was a sidewheel ironclad gunboat that served during the American Civil War.
- The second Pittsburgh (CA-4), originally named Pennsylvania (ACR-4), served during World War I.
- The third Pittsburgh (CA-72) was a Baltimore-class cruiser originally named Albany that served during World War II.
- The fourth Pittsburgh (SSN-720), was a Los Angeles class submarine on active service as of 2004.
