Trespass (1970) is the second studio album released by Genesis. While the band's lineup was nearly identical to that of their previous album, From Genesis to Revelation, Trespass' progressive rock sound was a marked departure from their earlier work, and foreshadowed the path the band would follow through the 70's.
While most of the tracks on the album are only of historical interest to fans, the rocking nine-minute closer, "The Knife" became a live favourite and appeared on Genesis' 1973 live compilation entitled Genesis Live.
